on air Sunday, May 3th 2026 at 8 PM and every sunday of May at the same time.
For a moment there we thought Mr Henwood had woken up enough to realise we are well into the 2020s here: of the 10 albums played in this programme, 6 were made in the last 3 years, and several even in 2026. Then he goes and spoils it by indlulging in 30 minutes of a band from Bristol in the 1990s that if you were at one of their gigs you probably don’t remember it anyway… So near and yet so far out. Somewhere out on Highway 61…

NB The life stories of those last 2 bands are so complicated to outsiders that we don’t know which of the people pictured was responsible for the sounds you will hear.

Poi, però, rovina tutto inserendo 30 minuti di una band di Bristol degli anni ’90 che, se eravate a un loro concerto, probabilmente non ricordate nemmeno…
Così vicina eppure così lontana. Da qualche parte sulla Highway 61…
