Outernational Artists #33 includes a positive excess of Mr Kevin Ayers, a gentleman who was no stranger to excess himself, as well as being the most exalted figure of the Canterbury pantheon not already heavily featured in these programmes. The jukebox of chance has also thrown in Kevin’s old pal Robert Wyatt again, returning British Festival favourites Headmix Collective, and exceptional new recordings from African Headcharge, and, incredibly, Vivian Stanshall, owner of a Baritone still more stentorian than Mr Ayers. Still further back in time we summon the legend of lost San Fran pioneers Moby Grape. Somewhere in there is a connection…

Outernational Artists #33 include un eccesso positivo di Kevin Ayers, un gentiluomo che non era estraneo agli eccessi, oltre ad essere la figura più esaltata del pantheon di Canterbury non già presente in questi programmi. Il jukebox del caso ha anche lanciato di nuovo il vecchio amico di Kevin, Robert Wyatt, tornando tra i favoriti del British Festival Headmix Collective, e nuove eccezionali registrazioni di African Headcharge e, incredibilmente, Vivian Stanshall, proprietaria di un baritono ancora più stentoreo di Mr Ayers. Andando ancora più indietro nel tempo evochiamo la leggenda dei pionieri perduti di San Francisco, i Moby Grape. Da qualche parte c’è una connessione…
